Dr. Ketan Parekh is from Pittsburg, Kansas. He attended Pittsburg State University where he received a dual degree; Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
In 2003, Dr. Parekh received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Tennessee, where he graduated in the top of his class.
Throughout his advanced education and surgical training, Dr. Parekh had treated advanced surgical cases. Dr. Parekh is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His surgical certification includes maxillofacial pathology, dentofacial deformities, and facial trauma. Dr. Parekh is also skilled in anesthesiology, trauma surgery, general surgery, surgical intensive care, and internal medicine.
At Pinnacle Oral Surgery Specialist, Dr. Parekh specializes in adult and pediatric anesthesia, dental implants, and dentoalveolar and orthognathic surgery. He has completed four years of advanced specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at MetroHealth Medical Center and The Cleveland Clinic, a world-renowned academic medical center and health system in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Parekh is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. His memberships include the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Rockwall Dental Society.
He has admitting privileges at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Lake Pointe and Presbyterian Hospital of Rockwall. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with his family. Dr. Parekh is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) at Texas A&M College of Dentistry and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
